Business Feedback from Luca Kerrison

  1. In reference to the local area a business like this would be good as many musicians struggle to get off the ground or record in a professional setting due to lack of a significant music scene in Norfolk, however in a grander sense you don't have a unique selling point that gives you an edge over other producers.
  2. The logo has a very sleek look which for drawing attention to a high-quality music studio is a brilliant design choice, and the album cover is also very modern which helps set a tone that your business is current and trendy.
  3. As stated in question one, for a local independent producer you have the potential to do really well for yourself in the industry, however your problems will arise with trying to grow that business into something bigger when you'll have to start competing with the big leagues.
  4. The main problem for starting out I can see would be getting the local musicians who are struggling already to agree to give away a percentage of their earnings, especially to a new and unproven business. The initial hustle to get off the ground will be the biggest challenge i think you'll face.
  5. I quite like the minimalist and modern look to the logo as it establishes your business as the next step in modern producing, this is good as many musicians are aspirers and would vibe with a modern, powerful business. The only issue I would see with the branding is it doesn't accommodate to reformers which is where a lot of popular music is predicted to head after a whole generation of aspirer genre types.
  6. I think the album cover is great and shows off a good idea of the production value you provide.
