Business Feedback From Loris Hawes
Do you think there’s a place in the creative industries for a business like this?
Yes, I think your business would have a perfect place in the creative industries. Music is a very popular sector in the creative industries and creating a business which produces and distributes music from other creators is a great idea.
Does the branding you have seen from me so far for the business (the logo and the album cover) seem in your opinion to suite the overall feel and stated intentions of the company?
I believe it does suit the overall intentions of your company. You stated that you’ll help with music videos, songs and albums and your album cover helps prove that. Your company seems to be open to producing many different genres of music, which is what’ll help with getting your business out there and gaining more customers.
Do you think the business could be financially viable?
Yeah, I think it could. With your business working alongside music creators, they can pay the funds your business requires to be able to help them create and distribute their music. Starting off might be a bit challenging since the equipment you would need is rather expensive but I'm sure if you can get a loan or another business to be in partnership with, they can help you with funding your company and getting it off its feet.
What problems do you think it might encounter?
One problem I think your business would face is trying to sell yourself against your competitors. If your business isn’t different from other music label companies, then it won’t be able to reach out to the public as much as others would.
What do you like/dislike about the branding?
I like the name of your business, it’s short, unique and catchy. I haven’t seen the logo as you haven’t attached the image of that, so I can’t give much feedback to that just yet.
This is purely because of the album cover you’ve made, but it seems like your music label company is very limited to just one genre of music and I believe it would be better if you were willing to try expanding your horizons and help creators in different genres. You might already be doing that, if so, then don’t worry about this piece of feedback.
Any other feedback or thoughts you may have?
Not that I can think of no, I think your business works well and it definitely has a place in the creative industries.

I really like how your logo looks! it's very simplistic, modern and very slick. It's very eye catching and interesting to look at, i like the simple black and white colour scheme you went with. I don't know if this was intentional but the logo reminds me of earphones/airpods which is very fitting since you listen to music with them and your company is within the music industry. Nice work!
